Born on the banks of the Ohio River, Sam Schneider is a long-suffering Cincinnati Bengals fan. He brings a multitude of hats with him to PlayerProfiler, including extensive work as a writer, fantasy football analyst, and editor in the fantasy space since 2019. Sam has also appeared as a guest on numerous podcasts in the community and will debut his own in the fall of 2025, based on his wildly popular “Fantasy Whiplash” series.
A former actor of stage and screen, “Samwise” has been playing fantasy football as a hobby since 1992 and is no stranger to newspaper box scores and handwritten statistics. He participates in all forms of fantasy, from DFS to Dynasty, and takes great pride in his “everyman” approach to entertaining writing. Armed with over 30 years of fantasy experience, Sam passes on a wealth of knowledge as a fantasy football analyst to assist game players in reaching the highest levels.
After growing up in Cincinnati and spending stints in Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles, Sam has taken a siesta back in the Midwest but still spends time in LA to escape the brutal weather of a river valley in The Queen City.
