Zane Durant is a defensive tackle prospect from Penn State who stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 294 pounds. A native of Lake Nona, Florida, Durant played high school football at Lake Nona High School before joining the Nittany Lions as a defensive line recruit. He quickly became part of Penn State’s defensive line rotation and developed into a key interior defender in the program. Durant earned All Big Ten honorable mention recognition during his career and gained experience against top competition in one of the nation’s strongest conferences.
Over his career at Penn State, Durant appeared in more than 40 games and made 28 starts while producing 64 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, and six sacks. One of his most productive seasons came in 2024 when he recorded 42 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and three sacks while ranking among the top defensive tackles in the Big Ten in tackles for loss. Known for his quick first step, leverage, and ability to penetrate the backfield, Durant developed into a disruptive interior presence and projects as a rotational defensive tackle candidate at the professional level.
