Terrance Ferguson agreed to a four year contract with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Los Angeles Rams have signed tight end Terrance Ferguson, their 2025 2nd round selection, to a four year contract. The deal is worth $9.7 million with $8 million guaranteed.
As training camps begin to start up all the 2nd round picks have begun signing their deals in quick succession and Ferguson is the latest domino to fall. The day two draft pick will be competing with Tyler Higbee for snaps in a potent Rams offense.
Ferguson might not have much of a role early in the season but he’ll be given the opportunity to prove to be the long term answer at some point this season since Higbee is entering the last year of his contract. He’s worth a late round pick on three tight end teams or to pair with one of the elite options at the top of the draft.

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that tight end ...
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (ankle) is ...
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (hip) will not ...
Despite missing most of 2024, Tyler Higbee is expected to have a big role for the Rams in 2025.
Based on press conferences with Rams head coach Sean McVay, Tyler Higbee is a key player on the Rams offense. This is even after Higbee missed almost entire 2024 season after suffering a ACL injury during the wild card loss after the 2023 season. In only 5 games Higbee posted 20 catches, 178 yards, and 3 touchdowns. Even at the age of 32, Higbee showed that age and injury hasn’t slowed him down much.
Tyler Higbee will be a sleeper TE pick if the Rams can agree to a new contract with Quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford has shown he can still sling the pigskin with the best of them despite not having his full repertoire of weapons healthy. Look for a healthy Higbee to continue a good connection with Stafford in 2025.

The Los Angeles Rams have activated tight end Tyler Higbee from Injured Reserve.
Just in time for the home stretch, the Los Angeles Rams have activated tight end Tyler Higbee from injured reserve. Higbee tore his ACL and MCL in the Wild Card lost to the Lions last season. The race for the NFC West Division is tight with only three games to go. The Rams will take all the help they can get.
Higbee is returning from a big injury, it is hard to envision him lighting it up in his first game back. It may not be until next season that he returns to form. Although at age 31, Higbee may not ever return to his previous form. Be wary putting him into your fantasy lineup, as Kupp and Nacua will be the main targets in this offense.
The Los Angeles Rams Tight End Tyler Higbee has returned to practice after rehabbing from ACL and MCL tears.
The Los Angeles Rams have reenforcement returning from injury in tight end Tyler Higbee. Higbee has yet to play this season due to suffering a torn ACL and MCL in the Rams loss to the Lions in the wildcard round of the playoffs last season. Higbee has completed his first practice this week in hopes of playing this weekend against the Saints.
The fantasy outlook for Higbee will be hampered by the severity of the knee injury. Most players need an entire year removed from ACL tears to return to their former selves. Some players never recover to their previous forms. Since Higbee is already 31 years old, the odds are stacked against him. Higbee may have some value in deep PPR leagues. Otherwise he is a player to leave on wavier wire.
