Trey Zuhn III is an offensive lineman and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who spent his entire career with the Texas A&M Aggies. A native of Fort Collins, Colorado, Zuhn attended Fossil Ridge High School, where he was a two-sport standout in football and track and field, competing in shot put and discus. He was rated a four-star recruit by 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals in the 2021 class, ranking among the top 30 offensive tackles nationally, and chose Texas A&M over offers from Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Colorado. He redshirted in 2021 while appearing in four games, then became the full-time starting left tackle beginning in 2022, starting all 11 games he played that season and earning the offense's Attitude and Most Improved Awards. He started all 13 games at left tackle in 2023, earned two-time team captain status, and received the Offensive Trenches Award. In 2024 he started all 13 games at left tackle again and earned All-SEC Third Team recognition while protecting the blind side for a Texas A&M offense that ranked second in the SEC in rushing at 195.5 yards per game. In 2025 he showcased versatility under new head coach Mike Elko, taking reps at center and left guard in addition to his primary tackle role. He finished his career with 37 starts at left tackle across four seasons and accepted an invitation to the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl, where he demonstrated the ability to play multiple interior positions.
Standing 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, Zuhn is known for snappy footwork and quick-trigger hands in pass protection that allow him to handle speed rushers along the edge, nimble short-area movement for his size that translates to pulling assignments and zone-blocking concepts, and the football intelligence and positional versatility to play left tackle, left guard, and center that substantially broadens his value as a roster piece. NFL evaluators project him as a swing offensive lineman at the next level who is expected to transition inside to guard or center, where his length, footwork, and pass-protection competence project him as a quality backup with starter upside in the right scheme, though he will need to add functional strength and consistency in power run-blocking to maximize his potential as a multi-year starter in the NFL.
