Nadame Tucker Bio

Nadame Tucker

Nadame Tucker is a defensive end and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played his final season with the Western Michigan Broncos after previous stops at two junior colleges and the University of Houston. A native of the New York area who attended Teaneck High School in Teaneck, New Jersey, Tucker was primarily a basketball player and a point guard who averaged nearly 14 points per game and did not begin playing football until his senior year of high school. He navigated the junior college route, beginning at Independence Community College in 2020 before breaking out at Hutchinson Community College in 2021 with 50 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks across 11 games, earning Defensive MVP honors at the Salt City Bowl. He then spent three largely inactive seasons at the University of Houston from 2022 through 2024, appearing in just 13 games and recording 10 tackles and no sacks, before transferring to Western Michigan for one final season.

In his lone season with the Broncos in 2025, Tucker was one of the most dominant pass rushers in the country, recording 55 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and 14.5 sacks tied for the FBS lead, with four forced fumbles, earning MAC Defensive Player of the Year honors and helping Western Michigan win the conference championship. He followed that performance with an impressive showing at the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl, recording two sacks and a forced fumble. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 247 pounds, Tucker is known for elite bend, quick-twitch athleticism, and a relentless pursuit of the quarterback that projects him as an explosive rotational edge rusher with developmental upside at the next level.
