Malik McClain is a wide receiver and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who finished his collegiate career at Arizona State after previous stints at Florida State and Penn State. A native of Daphne, Alabama, McClain attended Daphne High School before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida for his senior year, positioning himself as a four-star national recruit ranked among the top receivers in the 2021 class and drawing scholarship offers from Alabama, Miami, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Penn State before eventually committing to Florida State. He appeared in 12 games as a true freshman with the Seminoles in 2021, recording 16 receptions for 190 yards and two touchdowns and earning FSU Newcomer of the Year honors. After two seasons in Tallahassee and a stint at Penn State in 2023, he transferred to Arizona State in 2024, where he became part of a talented Sun Devil receiving corps during a College Football Playoff run. His most memorable moment came in the 2025 CFP Peach Bowl against Texas, where he caught a 42-yard touchdown pass from running back Cam Skattebo as part of a fourth-quarter comeback attempt. Across his career he totaled more than 55 receptions and over 600 yards.
