LT Overton is a defensive lineman and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played his final two seasons at the University of Alabama after two seasons at Texas A&M. A native of Milton, Georgia, Overton was a consensus five-star recruit in the 2022 class, ranked as the No. 4 defensive lineman nationally, and chose the Aggies over Alabama and several other programs. He saw action as a true freshman at Texas A&M, totaling 31 tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack, before a quieter sophomore season prompted his transfer to Tuscaloosa. In his first year with the Crimson Tide in 2024 he recorded 42 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in 13 games. His senior season in 2025 brought further improvement as he posted 42 tackles, six tackles for loss and four sacks across 12 starts while being invited to the Senior Bowl. He totaled 132 tackles, 12 tackles for loss and seven sacks across 49 career games.
Listed at 6-foot-5 and 278 pounds, Overton is a versatile defensive lineman with exceptional length and play strength. He spent the majority of his snaps outside the offensive tackle at Alabama, functioning as a "bandit" edge/defensive end in Kane Wommack's scheme, though he has also aligned inside at the three-technique on passing downs. His best attribute is his combination of length and heavy hands, allowing him to control blockers and win with swipes, rips and power moves. Evaluators project him as a Day Two selection who can contribute immediately as a rotational interior rusher and develop into a starter with experience, with his versatility to play multiple alignments along the defensive front making him an intriguing option for multiple scheme types.
