Jevon Jackson is a running back and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played at Austin Peay State University, UTEP, and UAB during his collegiate career. A native of Decatur, Alabama, Jackson enrolled at Austin Peay and became an immediate contributor, rushing for 572 yards and four touchdowns as a redshirt freshman in 2022 before breaking out in 2023 with 1,373 yards and 10 touchdowns on 252 carries, earning second-team FCS All-America honors and ranking fifth nationally in FCS rushing yards. He transferred to UTEP for the 2024 season alongside his head coach Scotty Walden, where he started nine of 12 games and led the Miners with 754 rushing yards and four touchdowns while adding 16 receptions for 99 yards. Returning to Alabama for his final season, Jackson signed with UAB in 2025 and produced 900 rushing yards in 12 games while making 10 starts, scoring six touchdowns and adding pass-catching contributions out of the backfield. Across his career spanning three programs, Jackson accumulated more than 3,600 rushing yards and established himself as a workhorse back accustomed to carrying large volumes of carries.
