After going undrafted in April, former Texas Longhorns wide receiver Isaiah Bond has agreed to terms with the Cleveland Browns.
Isaiah Bond won’t be charged with the sexual assault allegations levied against him. The 21-year-old speedster has maintained his innocence and is signing with the Cleveland Browns. Bond projects as an outside receiver with good speed and play-making ability.
The Browns are as good a landing spot as any for Bond to try and push for fantasy relevance. Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman sit atop the depth chart, but Bond will compete with the likes of Diontae Johnson and Jamari Trash for a depth role. The Browns’ offense should be somewhat capable, assuming Joe Flacco is behind center. Bond is worth monitoring as a deep flyer in dynasty formats.

Rookie wide receiver Isaiah Bond announces his intention to sign with the Cleveland Browns after being cleared of sexual assault allegations
Crazy day in the Dawg Pound! Almost immediately after the Browns’ second-round pick Quinshon Judkins was cleared of domestic violence charges, former Texas rookie receiver Isaiah Bond announced his intention to sign in Cleveland, as well. What’s crazy is Bond was also just cleared of sexual assault charges. He was considered a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft before the allegations led to him going undrafted. Bond did not have the college production that warrants a first-round pick, but his raw athleticism and speed are traits that NFL teams covet.
If Isaiah Bond does sign with the Browns (the team has made no comments publicly), it is a smart move, as he has a chance to crack the receiver rotation for Cleveland in 2025. Bond is likely free in every fantasy format, though dynasty players need to spend a large amount of their FAAB on him. If you’ve drafted already, you need to claim him. It may take a while for Shedeur Sanders and his upside to crack the lineup, but once he does, this Browns offense should be very dangerous.

Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond went undrafted after turning himself in on a sexual assault warrant on March 10
Once guaranteed first-round capital by analysts, Texas’s talented receiver Isaiah Bond went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft. This is the latest in Bond’s story of a fall from grace, which began with his transfer from Alabama to Texas before the 2024 season. He concluded his sole year at Texas, having taken a step back; he caught 14 fewer passes and had 128 fewer yards.
NFL teams took notice of his lack of progression, dropping his draft projection out of Round 1 and into Day 2. He completed his three-year college career with just 99 catches for 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns in 41 games. Bond’s draft fate was sealed when sexual assault allegations were levied against him just weeks prior to the draft. Bond maintains his innocence, but NFL teams steered clear of the wideout. He is now a free agent and able to sign anywhere, but clubs are likely waiting for the results of the accusation.
Bond’s draft capital was sky-high, not so much because of his college production, but because of his pure talent and athleticism. An explosive athlete who is dynamite with the ball in his hands, if Bond latches on with a team, he should be peppered with targets every Sunday. There have already been reports of Dallas’ interest.
The wide receiver is going widely undrafted in dynasty leagues, save for some late-round fliers at the end of rookie drafts. Managers with empty roster spots could do worse than stashing this elite talent in case he lands in a favorable situation. If he is on waivers in leagues when he finds a home, there will be a race to the waiver wire.

NFL Draft Prospect Isaiah Bond released he is innocent of the sexual assault claims and is being set up.
Former Texas Longhorns WR Isaiah Bond maintains his innocence relating a sexual assault warrant. Bond’s representatives sent a memo to all 32 teams explaining how he is being set up for financial gain.
Bond turned himself in last week after the warrant was issued for his arrest. Bond was projected to be a Day-2 pick in the NFL Draft. NFL teams have not outwardly expressed hesitation regarding Bond’s draft stock, however that will be tested in the coming week.

After an underwhelming combine, Bond’s stock was slowly rising up mock draft boards. He’s a projected Day-2, 3rd round pick in the April 2025 draft.
Bond released the following statement: “Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false. I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation. Unfortunately, claims like these prove to be harmful to all involved, absent full review. I kindly request that all reserve judgement until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence.”
The NFL most likely won’t directly impose a penalty on Bond. However, collective NFL teams may look at this incident as a character concern.

A ridiculous headline, to be sure, but wide receiver Isaiah Bond has no one to blame but himself for turning a decent showing at the combine into a literal farce.
Alabama and Texas product Isaiah Bond made waves when he indicated he would run a sub 4.2 40 during his pre-combine interview. While it’s normal for players to hype up their ability in interview settings, Bond’s outrageous promise set him up for failure. After running what would otherwise have been a somewhat disappointing, though respectable, 4.39, Bond seems to have hurt his stock heading into his pro day.
Bond was a high school sprint champion in the 100m and 200m races in the state of Georgia. His game is all about speed. During his collegiate career, he caught 99 balls for 1428 yards and 10 touchdowns in 35 games across three seasons with the Long Horns and Crimson Tide. He also showed what he could do on the ground in 2024 with a long of 44 yards while throwing in a 26-yard touchdown to boot.
Bond has shown both long-distance speed and short-area quickness on tape. He will look to improve upon his combine numbers on March 26, when Texas hosts its pro days. For now, he will likely bide his time and hope people have short memories by the time the draft rolls around in April.
