Hezekiah Masses

Hezekiah Masses is a cornerback and NFL Draft prospect who played college football for the California Golden Bears football at the University of California, Berkeley after beginning his career with the FIU Panthers football. A native of Deerfield Beach, Florida, Masses attended Deerfield Beach High School and was rated as a two star recruit before committing to FIU. He saw playing time early in his career with the Panthers, appearing in all 12 games as a freshman in 2022 and earning a spot on the Conference USA All Freshman Team. Over three seasons at FIU from 2022 through 2024, Masses played in 36 games and totaled 105 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 12 pass breakups, and two interceptions before entering the transfer portal and committing to California for his final collegiate season.

Standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 185 pounds, Masses emerged as one of the top defensive backs in the country during the 2025 season with California. Starting all 13 games for the Golden Bears, he recorded 47 tackles, five interceptions, and 18 passes defended, which led both the nation and the ACC. His performance earned him First Team All ACC honors and consensus Second Team All America recognition from outlets including the Associated Press and Walter Camp. Following the season, Masses accepted invitations to the 2026 Senior Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine, helping solidify his status as a defensive back prospect for the 2026 NFL Draft.
