Collin Wright is a cornerback and NFL prospect who played college football for the Stanford Cardinal. A native of Missouri City, Texas, Wright attended Manvel High School where he was a highly decorated defensive back and earned multiple all state honors before committing to Stanford as a four star recruit. Wright joined the Cardinal in 2022 and saw limited action as a freshman before developing into a key contributor in the secondary. He is listed at approximately 6 feet 0 inches tall and about 195 pounds, possessing the size and athletic profile of an outside cornerback prospect.
Wright became a full time starter for Stanford during the 2023 season, starting all 12 games and recording 61 tackles, five tackles for loss, an interception, and five pass breakups while emerging as one of the team’s most productive defensive backs. Over the course of his career he continued to build experience in the Pac 12 and later ACC competition, showing versatility in both man and zone coverage while contributing as a run defender. His size, experience, and ball production helped put him on the radar of NFL scouts entering the draft process.
