Cayden Green Bio

Cayden Green is a guard and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played for the University of Oklahoma in 2023 before transferring to the University of Missouri, where he spent two seasons. A native of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Green was a consensus four-star recruit in the 2023 class, rated as high as the No. 61 overall player nationally by Rivals. He started five games at left guard for the Sooners during his lone season in Norman, then transferred back to his home state, joining the Tigers ahead of the 2024 campaign. At Missouri, he immediately became the starting left guard and started all 13 games in 2024 as part of an offensive line that helped the Tigers rank seventh nationally in time of possession. In 2025, he moved to left tackle for the first time, starting all 13 games and declaring for the draft with one year of eligibility remaining. He was a teammate in high school with former first-round offensive lineman Armand Membou at Lee's Summit North.

Measuring approximately 6 feet 5 inches and 324 pounds, Green is a powerful and physical blocker with the natural strength and aggressive demeanor to make a mark as a run-game anchor in the NFL. He fires off the ball with good initial burst, uses his bulk to generate displacement on down blocks and double teams, and shows the football IQ to execute stunts and blitz pickups in pass protection. The evaluation question that follows him into the draft is his best positional fit, as most scouts project him inside to guard where his power and limited lateral quickness would be most effectively deployed rather than on the outside where his technique in space remains inconsistent. Teams project him as a Day 2 or early Day 3 selection with starting ability at guard in both gap and zone schemes, and his family's NFL pedigree in the same conference adds a familiar narrative to an already well-regarded profile.
