Carson Vinson Bio

Carson Vinson is a formidable offensive tackle who played for the Alabama A&M Bulldogs before entering the 2025 NFL Draft. Standing 6'6" and weighing 314 pounds, Vinson was a five-year starter at left tackle, starting in all 48 games of his collegiate career. During his tenure, he helped the Bulldogs rank first in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) in total offense and passing offense, and third in rushing offense. Notably, he earned an 89% overall offensive line grade, recorded 61 knockdowns, and allowed just one sack, which occurred against SEC opponent Auburn in the season opener. His exceptional performance led to several accolades, including being named to the AFCA FCS Coaches All-America Second Team, Stats Perform All-America Third Team, and earning a spot on the SWAC First Team. Additionally, Vinson was a finalist for the Urban Edge Network's HBCU+ National Player of the Year and was honored as the Top HBCU Offensive Lineman.

In a historic achievement, Vinson became the first HBCU player invited to the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl, marking a significant milestone for both him and Alabama A&M. His performance at the Senior Bowl, where he competed against top-tier talent, further solidified his status as a promising NFL prospect. Following his standout college career, Vinson was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round (141st overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. Scouting reports highlight his raw athletic talent and physicality, noting that while he possesses impressive attributes, he requires coaching, particularly in pass-blocking technique, to succeed at the professional level. Analysts believe that with development, Vinson has the potential to make a significant impact on the Ravens' offensive line.
