Brashard Smith, born on December 5, 2002, in Richmond Heights, Florida, is a dynamic running back and return specialist who has showcased exceptional versatility throughout his collegiate career. Standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds, Smith began his college football journey at the University of Miami, where he earned Second-Team All-ACC honors as a specialist in 2023. Over three seasons with the Hurricanes, he accumulated 69 receptions for 770 yards and four touchdowns, complemented by 18 rushing attempts for 177 yards and a touchdown. Demonstrating his explosive playmaking abilities, Smith returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown against Texas A&M, contributing to his total of 1,946 all-purpose yards.

In 2024, Smith transferred to Southern Methodist University (SMU), where he continued to excel.
