Ahmaad Moses

Ahmaad Moses is a safety and NFL Draft prospect who played college football at Southern Methodist University. A native of Arlington, Texas, Moses attended Mansfield Summit High School where he developed into a productive defensive back and earned three star recruiting recognition before committing to SMU in the 2022 recruiting class. He quickly became a key contributor in the Mustangs’ secondary, earning increased playing time early in his career and eventually emerging as one of the team’s most reliable defensive playmakers. Over multiple seasons he accumulated more than 200 total tackles, several interceptions, and multiple tackles for loss while helping anchor a defense that consistently ranked among the national leaders in turnovers.

Listed at approximately 5 feet 10 inches and around 192 pounds, Moses built a reputation for his instincts, range, and ability to create takeaways from the safety position. During his senior season he was among the national leaders in interceptions and earned multiple weekly honors, including national and conference defensive player of the week awards following a standout performance that included 15 tackles and two interceptions in a win over Miami. His production, football intelligence, and ball skills have drawn the attention of NFL scouts, projecting him as a developmental defensive back with the versatility to contribute as a safety and special teams player at the professional level.
