A native of Tampa, Florida, he attended Jesuit High School where he was rated as a three-star recruit before committing to Clemson over multiple Power Five offers. Woodaz arrived on campus in 2022 and contributed early, playing both safety and linebacker before settling into a full-time linebacker role. Over the course of his four-year career, he appeared in 51 games with 30 starts and compiled 217 tackles, 28.5 tackles for loss, nine sacks, three interceptions (including one returned for a touchdown), 13 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt, establishing himself as one of the most versatile defenders on the Tigers’ roster.

His leadership was recognized by teammates as he served as a permanent team captain in 2025 while earning third-team All-ACC honors that same season.
