Logan Fano is a edge rusher and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played his final three seasons with the Utah Utes after initially signing with BYU. A native of Spanish Fork, Utah, Fano attended Timpview High School in Provo, where he recorded 132 career tackles and 17 sacks and was rated a four-star recruit in the 2021 class, ranked the No. 4 prospect in the state. He served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints before arriving at BYU, where a torn ACL in spring camp prevented him from ever playing for the Cougars. He transferred to Utah in December 2022 to join his younger brother Spencer, the 2025 Outland Trophy winner, as teammates, and after suffering another ACL injury in his first Utah season in 2023, he recovered to start nine games in 2024 and serve as a team captain in 2025, closing his Utah career with 82 total tackles, 10.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles while earning an invitation to the 2026 Panini Senior Bowl.
Measuring 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, Fano comes from an extraordinary football family, with four uncles, Gabe Reid, Spencer Reid, Anton Palepoi, and Tenny Palepoi, who all played in the NFL, and a cousin, Karene Reid, currently playing for the Denver Broncos. Known for his size, power at the point of attack, and effort as a run defender, Fano projects as a physical edge rusher with the strength and frame to set the edge against the run and develop as a power pass rusher at the next level, where his special teams contributions are expected to be an immediate asset.
