Quintayvious Hutchins is an edge defender who played college football for the Boston College Eagles. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 229 pounds. A native of Bessemer, Alabama, Hutchins developed into a contributor along Boston College’s defensive front during his time with the program. He primarily lined up as an edge rusher and outside linebacker, using his speed and length to pressure quarterbacks and pursue plays across the field in the Eagles defensive scheme.
During his collegiate career, Hutchins gained experience as part of Boston College’s defensive rotation and contributed on defense and special teams. In one of his most productive seasons he recorded 36 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks while also adding a forced fumble and an interception. Known for his quick first step and ability to chase down ball carriers, Hutchins enters the NFL draft evaluation process as an athletic edge defender with developmental upside as a rotational pass rusher and special teams contributor at the professional level.
