Devin Moore is a cornerback and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played his entire collegiate career with the Florida Gators. A native of Naples, Florida, Moore was a four-star recruit in the 2022 class who initially committed to Notre Dame before flipping to Florida, citing the opportunity to represent his home state. He appeared in five games as a true freshman in 2022 before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury that required surgery. He returned in 2023 but was limited by a concussion, managing one start across eight appearances and finishing with six tackles, three pass breakups, and an interception. Injuries again cut short his 2024 season, though he started six of seven games and produced 17 tackles, two pass breakups, and two interceptions before his shoulder acted up. He finally achieved full health in 2025 and delivered his best campaign, starting 11 games, posting 35 tackles, two interceptions, four pass breakups, a sack, and a forced fumble, including a pivotal fourth-quarter interception of Arch Manning in a victory over ninth-ranked Texas. He finished 2025 with an 84.2 PFF defensive grade, highest among any Florida player with at least 100 snaps, and was invited to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.
Standing 6-foot-3 and 198 pounds, Moore brings one of the most physically exceptional frames in the cornerback class, pairing elite height with 4.4-second speed that gives defensive coordinators a rare size-speed combination on the boundary. He is known for his zone-coverage processing, ability to use length to contest throws at the catch point, reliable tackling in run support, and the football IQ to bait quarterbacks into ill-advised throws. The primary question mark heading into the draft is his injury history, as a clean bill of health will determine how high his stock climbs. NFL evaluators project him as a starting-caliber outside cornerback in press-bail and Cover-3 heavy schemes, where his combination of length, closing burst, and ball skills position him as a mid-to-late Day 2 selection with legitimate starter upside if he demonstrates durability throughout the pre-draft process.
