Trebor Pena is a wide receiver and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who finished his collegiate career with the Penn State Nittany Lions after six seasons with the Syracuse Orange. A native of Ocean Township, New Jersey, Pena attended Ocean Township High School and was a three-star recruit in the 2020 class who initially committed to Temple before receiving his only Power Five offer from Syracuse. He joined the Orange in 2020 and immediately made an impact as a freshman return specialist and receiver, earning PFF All-ACC recognition for his kickoff return production including a 98-yard return touchdown against NC State before a late-season injury cut short his debut. The following two seasons were marred by injuries that severely limited his availability, including a 2023 campaign in which he appeared in just one game. He came back fully healthy in 2024 and delivered a breakout performance, catching 84 passes for 941 yards and nine touchdowns while earning Second Team All-ACC recognition, leading the conference in receptions, and ranking fifth in Syracuse single-season program history in catches. He then transferred to Penn State for his final season in 2025, bringing his career totals to 109 catches for over 1,200 yards and appearing in 41 collegiate games.
Standing approximately 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds with a 4.52-second 40-yard dash, Pena is known for precise route running that generates consistent separation at all three levels, natural hands and body control that allow him to pluck the ball away from his frame in contested situations, quickness after the catch rooted in years of experience as a return specialist at the college level, and the durability and mental fortitude developed through overcoming multiple significant injuries across a six-year collegiate career. NFL evaluators project him as a developmental slot receiver and possible special teams contributor at the next level, where his combination of reliable hands, route-running polish, and versatility position him as a late-round or priority free agent candidate with the competitive background and high football character that teams value in depth receivers competing for a roster spot.
