Caullin Lacy is a wide receiver and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who finished his collegiate career with the Louisville Cardinals after spending four seasons with the South Alabama Jaguars. A native of Mobile, Alabama, Lacy enrolled at South Alabama as a three-star recruit in the 2020 class, arriving as a converted running back who worked his way into the receiving rotation before exploding into one of the nation's most productive wide receivers. In 2022 he recorded 64 receptions for 812 yards and six touchdowns before his breakout 2023 campaign, when he led the Sun Belt Conference with 91 receptions for 1,316 yards and seven touchdowns, ranking fifth in FBS in receptions and sixth in receiving yards to earn First Team All-Sun Belt honors. He transferred to Louisville for his final season of eligibility in 2024, suffering a broken collarbone on the final day of fall camp that limited him to five games before he returned in the Sun Bowl. He preserved his redshirt and came back fully healthy for 2025, finishing with 60 receptions for 635 yards and two touchdowns on offense while earning Second Team All-American recognition as a return specialist and becoming a finalist for both the Jet Award and the Paul Hornung Award with 22 punt returns for 440 yards and two touchdowns. He was selected to both the 2026 Senior Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine.
Standing 5-foot-10 and 183 pounds, Lacy is known for exceptional short-area quickness and lateral explosion that makes him one of the most elusive players with the ball in his hands in the entire draft class, refined slot route running that generates clean separation in the quick game and on crossers, elite instincts and vision as a return specialist that earned him national recognition as one of college football's most dangerous returners, and the versatility to contribute as a ball carrier and motion weapon in addition to a traditional receiver role.
