Jordan Hudson Bio

Jordan Hudson is a wide receiver and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who finished his collegiate career with the SMU Mustangs after beginning it with the TCU Horned Frogs. A native of Garland, Texas, Hudson was one of the most coveted receivers in the nation out of Garland High School, rated a five-star recruit and the 12th overall prospect in the 2022 class by ESPN with offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Texas A&M among others before committing and signing with TCU. He contributed immediately as a true freshman with the Horned Frogs in 2022, catching 14 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns on a team that reached the CFP National Championship Game, before entering the transfer portal and joining SMU. With the Mustangs he grew into a consistent and reliable target across three seasons, recording 30 catches for 425 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023, 39 catches for 422 yards and five touchdowns in 2024, and a career-best 61 receptions for 766 yards and six touchdowns in 2025, earning Third Team All-ACC honors in his senior campaign. He was invited to the 2026 Senior Bowl and the NFL Scouting Combine, closing his career with 144 receptions for 1,787 yards and 21 touchdowns across four collegiate seasons.

Standing 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Hudson is known for polished route running built on track and field athleticism that includes a reported 11.34-second 100 meters and a 45-foot-7 triple jump at the high school level, efficient acceleration out of his breaks that allows him to create separation in the intermediate areas where he is most effective, a competitive temperament shaped by adjusting from one of the nation's most hyped recruits to a productive contributor across multiple programs, and strong hands that give him reliable production when targeted. NFL evaluators project him as a Day 3 wide receiver prospect with the route-running foundation and competitive football intelligence to contribute as a slot or outside receiver in a Pro-style or spread offense, with special teams upside providing additional value as he works to establish a professional role.
