Should Oregon’s Dante Moore declare for the draft ESPN’s Matt Miller has a 1st round grade for the quarterback.
ESPN’s Matt Miller is the top draft analyst for the company. He recently released his top prospects with 1st round grades. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore is 1 of 2 quarterbacks listed with a 1st round grade. Moore still has a year of eligibility remaining and has not declared his status yet. If Moore declares for the 2026 NFL Draft, he is instantly a top quarterback.
Dante Moore is still only 20 years old with only one full season as a starter. Moore has 3,280 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns, 9 interceptions and 2 rushing touchdowns. Moore has a slight build at 6’3″ and 206 pounds, he could stand to gain some muscle weight to withstand an NFL beating in the pocket. That said, he has shown the arm talent to make all the throws needed and the leadership to run a team. His biggest weakness is his inexperience, he can either return to Oregon to gain more experience or dive head first into the NFL. The New York Jets have the 2nd overall pick, Moore would be the favorite.
