Eric McAlister is a wide receiver and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who finished his collegiate career at TCU after beginning at Boise State. A native of Azle, Texas, McAlister was a three-star recruit who signed with the Broncos and spent two productive seasons in Boise, catching 11 passes for an eye-catching 23.5 yards per catch average as a redshirt freshman and following with 47 receptions for 873 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore in 2023. Looking to come home to Texas and compete at a higher level, he transferred to TCU for the 2024 season and carved out a significant role in a loaded receiver room, finishing with 39 receptions for 762 yards and five touchdowns while leading the nation in first-down catch percentage. His senior season in Fort Worth was his best, as he became the Horned Frogs' clear number one target with 1,190 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, setting a program record with a 254-yard, three-touchdown performance against SMU, earning him third-team All-American honors from the Associated Press, first-team All-Big 12 recognition, and a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist nod.
Measured at 6-foot-1 and approximately 205 to 210 pounds, McAlister is a big, competitive boundary receiver with legitimate NFL-caliber size, a varied route tree, and strong yards after catch production, having forced 40 missed tackles over his two seasons at TCU.
