Mel Kiper Jr.’s No. 3 ranked tight end enters the NFL Draft.
Texas TE Jack Endries is entering the 2026 NFL Draft, he told ESPN. Endries finished his collegiate career with 124 receptions for 1,376 yards and 7 TDs across 39 games. After spending his first 2 seasons at Cal, he transferred to Texas for the 2025 season, where he recorded 33 receptions for 346 yards and 3 TDs. He is currently ranked as Mel Kiper Jr.’s No. 3 TE in the 2026 class.
Endries will make a case to be the No. 1 TE from a fantasy football perspective. Typically, the 3rd ranked TE in a rookie class wouldn’t turn too many heads, but in recent years rookie TEs have been exploding onto the scene. Endries isn’t expected to be the next elite TE, but he will hope to carve out an impactful role in year 1, similar to what players like Harold Fannin, Oronde Gadsden, Mason Taylor, and former Longhorn Gunner Helm were able to in 2025.
