Seth McLaughlin Bio

Seth McLaughlin is a 6'4", 304-pound center who began his collegiate football career at the University of Alabama before transferring to Ohio State for the 2024 season. A native of Buford, Georgia, McLaughlin was a three-star recruit who started 24 games over three seasons with the Crimson Tide. Despite facing challenges, including snapping issues and fan criticism, he demonstrated resilience and determination. In 2024, McLaughlin joined Ohio State, where he played in 10 games and earned the prestigious Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center. His performance was instrumental in the Buckeyes' national championship victory. Unfortunately, a torn Achilles tendon suffered during practice in November ended his season prematurely.

Following the 2025 NFL Draft, McLaughlin signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent. Despite the injury setback, he was recognized as ESPN's highest-ranked undrafted player available after the draft. Known for his technical proficiency, football intelligence, and leadership, McLaughlin is expected to compete for a roster spot on the Bengals' interior offensive line. His journey reflects a remarkable turnaround, from overcoming adversity to becoming a key asset for an NFL team.
