Azareye'h Thomas Bio

Azareye’h Thomas is a promising cornerback who played for the Florida State Seminoles before entering the 2025 NFL Draft. Standing 6'2" and weighing 197 pounds, Thomas began his collegiate career at FSU in 2022 and became a full-time starter in 2024. During that season, he played in all 12 games, recording 52 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, and one interception. He earned honorable mention All-ACC honors and the Bobby Bowden Leadership Award, while also leading the team in defensive snaps and achieving the highest defensive grade on the roster according to Pro Football Focus.

Following his standout college career, Thomas was selected by the New York Jets in the third round (73rd overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. Scouting reports highlight his ideal frame, physical press coverage skills, and ability to use his length effectively to disrupt passes. However, concerns about his speed and consistency in coverage have been noted. Thomas is expected to compete for a starting role in the Jets' secondary and may also see action in nickel packages.
