Luke Wysong Bio

Luke Wysong is a wide receiver and 2026 NFL Draft prospect who played college football for the University of Arizona after a long collegiate career at the University of New Mexico. A native of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Wysong attended Cleveland High School, where he was a Gatorade Player of the Year winner in both football and track and field before joining the Lobos as a local recruit. He developed into one of the most productive receivers in Mountain West Conference history at New Mexico, breaking out over multiple seasons and posting his best year in 2024 with 69 receptions for 840 yards, before entering the transfer portal and signing with Arizona for his final collegiate season. In 2025 with the Wildcats, Wysong recorded 24 receptions for 278 yards in the Big 12 Conference, capping a career total of more than 160 receptions for over 1,700 yards across more than 50 collegiate games. He officially declared for the 2026 NFL Draft in January of that year.

Standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 184 pounds, Wysong is known for his reliable hands, crisp route running, and the consistency that helped him remain productive despite multiple coaching changes throughout his time at New Mexico. He brings experience as a special teams contributor and slot receiver option who knows how to find open areas in zone coverages and manufacture first downs in critical situations. NFL teams are expected to evaluate Wysong as a priority free agent or late-round candidate who offers immediate value on special teams and developmental upside as a possession receiver due to his high target share production and football IQ accumulated across a lengthy multi-year collegiate career.
