Fernando Mendoza’s leading receiver in 2025 could end up a Round 1 selection.
Omar Cooper Jr. has been gaining a lot of steam among the dynasty community as of late. Will NFL teams view him the same way come draft time? A solid performance at the NFL Scouting Combine next week could push the junior wideout even higher up draft boards. He and teammate Elijah Sarratt were the top two pass catchers for the Hoosiers during their perfect season, with both hoping to hear their name called in Round 1 come April. If Cooper tests well, he could be the first Indiana WR selected.
Cooper is entering the league after a highly productive 2025 season. He increased his receptions, yardage, and touchdown total every year at Indiana, capping off his collegiate career with 69 catches for 937 yards and 13 TDs. At 6’0” and 201 pounds, Cooper is a physical receiver who excels at making defenders miss. Whichever team drafts him is getting an after-the-catch weapon. He averaged 6.6 YAC per reception across three seasons and forced 27 missed tackles in 2025.
